lots of features
Strengths: wireless N,gigabit speeds, multiple ssids
Weakness: cannot connect on other ssid if mac filtering is enabled(why have a different ssid to connect other clients if mac filtering is global???)i wanted a secure ssid for my use and open for guests.
I stand behind this company , i set up their routers exclusively on installs, but i was a bit disappointed in the first one I got of this model. Seems the lower end stuff is more reliable...2 months into my replacement and it has been fine, maybe just a defective one.in addition the tech support is helpful, but they will exhaust all options before accepting an rma. I had to go back and forth 4...

Poor Connectivity for large loads
Strengths: Easy to manage
Weakness: Flaky dropped connection issues, check support forums before buying. I've been working through the updates and still no joy,
My situation may be unique with over 18 devices but I'm pretty knowledgeable about this stuff and still can't figure out why various client wireless n adapters drop. Biggest problem is with the Linksys wmp600N and an RALink based adapter in one of my lenovo laptops.

Set it and forget it
Strengths: trivially easy setup, runs forever without resetting, very very fast, requires very little power when idle, very good documentation, extremely good range
Weakness: too many bright flashing LEDs for the bedroom.
I bought the WNDR3700 and a similar Linksys router at the same time with the intention of testing both and returning the less desirable one. The WNDR arrived first so I setit up first. I was so pleased with the setup process and the performance that when the Linksys arrived a couple of days latter, I didn't bother with it. I have connected wirelessly 2 desktops, 2 laptops, 1 netbook and a...

Great Router
This is a great piece of equipment. It was easy to set up, works very well and has great clarity and signal. Updating the firmware is a bit of a pain, but it's manageable. I recommend this even though it's more more expensive than some others.
